I remember, a year ago, when we gathered at Rosalyn and Ted’s house. It was a very special night, when we celebrated the marriage of Mike and Paola. I saw how Ted expressed his love during that celebration—the profound embrace of love, gratitude, and acceptance that he gave to my daughter Paola remains deeply marked in my memory. I saw a man fighting relentlessly to survive, to win the battle against this cancer. A man who fought for his life. But today, I remember the precious moments—few, but truly wonderful—seeing how a human being can give so much love without even saying a word. My condolences, from the depths of my heart, to the entire family. To all of Ted and Rosalyn’s children, to all the grandchildren, and to all your family, please receive my most sincere condolences. May God give you understanding and strength so that you may move forward, following the teachings that Ted left you. A hug for all of you, Lucy and family.
