Gerald Petrillo, beloved husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and friend, passed away on Sunday January 18, 2026 at the age of 93.
Born and raised in New York City to Italian immigrant parents, Jerry embodied the values they instilled in him: hard work, integrity, loyalty, and above all, family. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a chapter of his life he carried with quiet honor and lifelong pride.
Following his service, Jerry built a distinguished career on Wall Street as a broker on the New York Stock Exchange. Respected by colleagues and clients alike, he was known for his sharp mind, exceptional command of both math and language, and unwavering professionalism. His reputation was built on intelligence, trust, and service.
Jerry was married to the love of his life, Camille for over 64 years and demonstrated every day what commitment truly means. Together, they raised four children, and with devotion to his Catholic faith, created a family rooted in love, laughter, and shared traditions. He preached “family first” and lived those words without exception.
A natural storyteller, Jerry could captivate any room. His stories, rich in humor, warmth, and wisdom, made him unforgettable and deeply loved by everyone who knew him. He was an avid golfer, a lifelong and dedicated New York Yankees fan, and a man who never missed an opportunity to enjoy a good time and great company.
Above all, Jerry will be remembered as a wonderful husband & father, true gentleman, a loyal friend, and a man of character who left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his wife, Camille, his children, Gerald Petrillo, Regina Cravero (John), Christine Blaine (Kevin), Carolyn O'Brien and grandchildren: Gabriella, Andrew, (Hailey) Christopher, (Atlee) Johnny, Joseph, Theresa, Charlie and Madeline.
