Madi Perrotta Obituary

Madeline “Madi” Perrotta, 68, of Smithtown, New York, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. A beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend, Madi will be remembered for her warmth, loyalty, and generous spirit that touched countless lives.

Madi was born on November 11, 1957, in Patchogue, New York. Throughout her life, her family remained the heart of everything she did. She is survived by her devoted husband, John; her loving children, Sean (Corine) and Jillian (Clayton); her siblings, Alex, Laura, Linda, Wayne, and Keith; her grandson Harry; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn.

Madi dedicated 27 years of her professional life to St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, where she served faithfully and joyfully as a treasured member of the staff. Her colleagues, students, and the Franciscan community will long remember her as a steady presence in the general office—always ready with a kind word, a smile, or a helping hand.

Outside of work, Madi found joy in travel, embracing adventure wherever it led her. Whether exploring a familiar spot or discovering someplace entirely new, she approached every journey with wonder and gratitude. Her enthusiasm for life, her steadfast faith, and her kindness to others made her a beacon of love and encouragement to all who knew her. Madi was also a treasured member of the AA community, sharing her experience, strength and hope with others.

Family and friends are invited to honor Madi’s life at M.A. Connell Funeral Home in Huntington Station, New York, on Wednesday, January 21, during visiting hours from 2–4 p.m. and 6–9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Huntington Station, on Thursday, January 22, at 11:00 a.m.
