I Met Elizabeth first day of high school in 1964. She introduced me to her neighbor and good friend Robert and Robert and I have been married 56 years. When we first graduated we took the F train together to our respective secretarial jobs in NYC. And we kept in touch with each other all these years. She and I would call and text and brag about our grandchildren to each other. We went to our high school reunion a few years ago and had a wonderful time. She loved her family and was so very proud of them. Liz I will miss you so much but now you are with your soulmate Emil.

From the 1st day I met Liz I knew she would be my best friend & a sister to me I am also an only child. We met a Lucille Roberts. i have been friends with Liz at least 35 years or more. I was so blessed to have her in my life and I can't imagine walking this earth without her. We go to bloomingdales and she would say I knew all the people that worked there and to this day still do. Actually I was there yesterday and I passed the restaurant there that was the last time Liz and I had lunch together. Liz was such a beautiful soul she was kind, caring a great mom and grandmother she loved her Sofia. We had such a close friendship we were very much alike. I would sometimes call her Betty Boop who she adored. Liz had beautiful eyes and she loved her mascara.
I will miss our conversations and all our funny stories. God Bless you my love and you are with your beloved Emil. Give me some signs that you are here with me.

My family and I will always be grateful for Liz for taking us and our baby into her home during hurricane Sandy when we had no power for two weeks. I will always remember getting through the loss of my mom with Liz after she lost Emilio. We were able to lean on each other and had tea together almost everyday. Best neighbor I ever had!!!! I’m sorry to her family for their loss.

To the best mother in law anyone could have. You and dad were the most perfect in-laws anyone could ever wish for. I will miss our "date nights" watching our show that I'm sure dad would have gladly enjoyed beating me for getting you hooked on. I can't think of any time that involved a bad time with you. You were always easy to please! I wish I could have gotten you on the boat more, but understood seeing as you can moron sickness on a swing. We had a blast together and sometimes too much fun so Sue would have step in and bring us back to reality.
You gave Sofia the most precious gift in being her grandmother. I can't believe she turned out to be as thankful as she is because you have her everything and did everything she wanted. You never told her no, even if it meant you running laps in our yard until you nearly collapsed from exhaustion while she sat and watched. You showed her kindness, strength, perseverance, tenacity, trust, truth, vigilance, endurance, dedication, forgiveness, and most importantly, unconditional love. She has learned so much from you in her young age and Sue and I could never come close to thanking you for all you've done for all of us.
I always hooked with you that you can take the girl out of Queens, but you can't take the Queens out of the girl. Well, I suppose now, you take the heart out of the girl, but you can't take the girl out of our hearts. You will always be apart of us and we'll see you again. Be sure to have a plenty of your roasted potatoes for me (I know most never made it to the actual dinner plate) and hope you finally have the special doormat you wanted!
Love you and will miss you every day!!!
