Born on December 24th, Linda was a Christmas Eve baby. It’s hard to think of Linda and not be reminded of her dimpled smile, love for family, and creativity. She was an artist - from hair designs to decorating her home and preparing meals. She said cooking was an endearment. She shared her talent – and recipes. Sourdough bread was a favorite. While not every loaf was perfect (strike that - every loaf was perfect).
A musician’s daughter, she welcomed friends with music, especially during the holidays. She taught young children to play piano. A visit to Linda’s meant a cup of coffee and homemade muffins while listening to Frank Sinatra.
She loved God, the Blessed Mother, Italy and tradition. She cherished old movies, not for their entertainment but for their values. Reserved and conservative but spirited. She welcomed everyone and protected her children. She loved animals and the mountains of Vermont.
Linda is at peace. Know that God is stronger than cancer.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are requested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
