Shane Garcia, age 27, of Long Island, passed away on November 2, 2025, doing what he loved most — fishing. Born on July 12, 1998, Shane lived his life with passion, adventure, and an unshakable spirit that touched everyone who knew him.

Shane was known for his fearless and free-spirited nature. He was adventurous, charismatic, and always lived life on the edge. Beneath his tough exterior, Shane had the biggest heart — he loved deeply and fearlessly, always showing up for the people who mattered most to him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Crystal Alicea. He is survived by his father, Rudy Garcia, and stepmother, Melissa Garcia. Shane also leaves behind his grandparents Michele (Meema), Gene, Sonny, Lucia, and Luciano; his siblings Sam, Kai, Ezekiel, Miah, Ayany, Luchiano, Emiliana, Avyana, Aashay, and Trystan; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including his beloved Aunt Jazmin and Cousin Armani. 

Shane will be forever remembered and missed by his long-term girlfriend, Jessica, and his cherished stepdaughter, Madison.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at M.A. Connell Funeral Home in Huntington Station from 2:00–4:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor and celebrate Shane’s life.

Though his time with us was far too short, Shane’s adventurous soul, fearless love, and unforgettable presence will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
