Anthony “Tony” Francis Meere

July 28, 1955 – October 12, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Francis Meere of Melville, New York, who passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Born on July 28, 1955, in Washington Heights, New York, Tony lived a life full of love, generosity, and devotion to his family and friends. He will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, sense of humor, and his unwavering commitment to both work and family.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Meere, and his five children: Jack Meere, Caroline Russell Meere, Jamie Meere, Chase Meere, and Brooke Meere. He was a proud grandfather to Fiona Russell, Ronan Meere, Nora Russell, Finley Meere, and Colin Russell.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station, NY 11746.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Church, 175 Wolf Hill Road, Huntington Station, NY 11746. Burial will follow at Melville Cemetery, 498 Sweet Hollow Road, Melville, NY 11747.

Tony will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
