Betty Diviney of Huntington passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025.
Born on October 7, 1937 in Manhattan and grew up in the Bronx, NY. Daughter of Walter and Josephine Kuntz, and sister to Doris and Walter. While summering in Lake Carmel, NY with her parents, Betty met Marty, her future husband, while swimming in the lake. Married in 1956, they started their 69-year love affair. As loving parents together raising five children- Beth, Michael, Dan, Sue, Peggy, and blessed with in-laws Cheryl, Sue, Ken, and Joe. Cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren and loving great grandmother of 5 great grandchildren.
Betty will be deeply missed and always remembered for her style, grace, generosity of spirit, amazing ability to create and serve the food of all nations with ease, and her unflinching devotion to her beloved husband. Betty taught us all the importance of love, kindness, and family life.
