We are so heartbroken to hear about Kevin's passing. He was truly a remarkable son, an amazing father and a cherished brother. Kevin was a good friend of my son during middle school and high school. After High School he went to work with my husband, who loved him like a son. My husband Don Thompson adored Kevin. Kevin was always such a sweet and kind soul. We are devastated to hear of his passing. He let a mark on our family forever. He will be missed. Don, Laura Lee, Keith, Donielle and Ashley Thompson

Although it’s been a few years since I saw Kevin, he was always someone I would look forward to randomly running into when I was out and about. When I think back to when I first met him, I will always recall what a great person he was and remember how well he was liked by everyone who knew him. It didn’t matter who you were or where you came from, Kevin always impressed upon people how genuine and real he was. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him.

FATHER, my heart is heavy, as my beloved childhood friend is mourning again, this loss of a beautiful son. I thank You for their cherished relationship. Lord, grant Dottie strength she requires to carry their special memories in her thoughts as You have welcomed Kevin into Your Eternal Embrace. I have known Kevin since he was 4years old. My children and Kevin and his siblings and our families shared many happy times together. Wonderful to see what a wonderful caring and talented adult he was. All his beautiful carpentry is a legacy that will still bring joy to many. Although I only met Kevin once when my daughter Kelly married Teddy Scharkopf . He was at their wedding and our family heard of all the stories Teddy told us. His carpentry skills , his passion for sailing, his sons , it was as we knew him well. my sincerest condolences to his two sons , Dottie and brothers. He is at peace with his family that passed before him. RIP Kevin. You will forever be in the hearts of all that loved you.

I had the great pleasure of being friends with Kevin. He was one of the best and we shared many good times but most of all were our many skiing adventures with the boys (Luke/Max). He was so easy going and would doing anything for anyone no questions asked. I will miss him dearly. This is a great loss on so many levels. He left this world too soon but I hope I get a chance to ski/board on more time somewhere - anywhere. Love Mike Grassi
