James Alan Brannan Obituary

James A. Brannan, born March 17, 1952, and passing on July 9, 2025. Beloved father of Shamus(Christine) and Casey(Georgiana). Loving grandfather to Christian and Andrew. Cherished life partner of Joan Brannan. James, a true craftsman and man of nature whose love not only shaped wood, but the lives of those around him. A mountain man at heart who found joy and peace in splitting fire wood and gardening. His passion for history and sharp mind made every conversation enriching, while his huge heart left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Above all, he was a great father and grandfather. He loved his boys and the time he had with his grandkids. A very proud man of the legacy he left behind. Those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with James are forever blessed by his warmth and wisdom.
