Joanna Prestyly Pepi passed away peacefully on July 2nd, 2025, at the age of 69, at her home in Centerport, NY. Joanna was born in Manhasset, NY, on October 11th, 1955, daughter of Robert Prestyly and Anne Carnese Prestyly. Joanna graduated from Walt Whitman High School in Huntington, NY. After marrying Leonard Pepi, they settled in Huntington and raised their two boys.

Joanna led a vibrant life, filled with travel, great food, and friends and family she loved unconditionally. In her youth, she enjoyed horseback riding; later, she loved and cared for six dogs as if they were family. She had an infectious sense of humor and a keen sense of style, and was quick to lend a hand to those in need. She was a fierce advocate for her family and all of those she loved.

She is survived by her husband Leonard Pepi; her two sons, Michael (Chelsea) Pepi and Robert (Jamie) Pepi; her brother, Robert Prestyly; her nephew, Bob (Vanessa) Prestyly; her niece, Kelly (Patrick) Lynaugh; and her grandson, Marshall, and granddaughter, Giorgia.

A memorial visitation service will be held on Sunday, July 6th, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave, Huntington Station, NY 11746.
