Christopher Laurence Lavery passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 36.

Born in Huntington, New York, Chris was the dear son of Nancy and Thomas Lavery. He was the loving brother to Andrew and Marie, brother-in-law to Julian and Amanda, uncle to Alice and Lucy, father to Bernadette, and dear nephew, cousin, and friend.

Chris loved partaking in many activities. He was a talented musician and one who accumulated a variety of musical instruments over the years. His love of music struck a chord as he decided to double major in music and mathematics at Brandeis University. He played the clarinet in the Huntington High School Band and served as drill leader. He spent time his leisure time playing in various bands.

Another one of Chris’s favored leisure activities was playing pool. His proficiency level landed him in various competitions, even as far as the prestigious APA World Pool Championship located in Las Vegas.

Chris also enjoyed academic challenges. The manner in which his brain computed mathematical equations was beyond common comprehension. His academic drive allowed him to self-learn computer coding which helped him to land a variety of computer engineering opportunities as a programmer within the computer tech industry.

Chris’s memory will live on through his loved ones as we continue to celebrate the life he lived.
