Shanahan, Kathleen Marie, “Kathy”, 74, of East Meadow, passed away on March 15th, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Cornelius. Loving mother of Gavin (Catherine), Brien (Angelis), Patrick (Carissa), and Terence (Monaya). Adoring grandmother of Maya, Colin, Daniel, Aiden, Nora, and Albert. Dear sister of Frank DiGiacomo (Deborah), Ken DiGiacomo (Pat), Bob DiGiacomo, Tom DiGiacomo (Nancy), and Carol Casler (Dale). Visitation will be held Friday March 21st, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM, at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 22nd at 10:15 AM, at St. Patrick’s Church, 400 Main Street, Huntington. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Huntington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kathy’s name may be made to: Ruffhouse Rescue, The American Diabetes Association, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
