Joanne Marie Corso, age 79, passed peacefully in her sleep, in the arms of her three children on 2/10/25. Joanne loved her family fiercely. Her 3 children Keith (Kelly), Kent (Meghan), and Marlaena (Charles) and 7 grandchildren (Stella, Aidan, Dean, Charles, Siena, Annelise and Gavin) were her greatest source of pride. She cherished her home in Northport and enjoyed reading by the harbor and attending the theatre in Northport Village. Her fondest memories were in Mattituck, NY, her childhood summer home, where she would catch crabs from the dock in Deep Hole Creek and ride in her father‘s boat.  She is pre-deceased by her parents, Judge Joseph R. Corso and Camilla Corso, and her sister MaryLynne Miller. Joanne was an accomplished registered nurse who lived life with compassion for those who have suffered. Joanne is survived by her children, grandchildren, and her two nieces and nephew.
