We had nice memories of our beloved Uncle Kay at Grandma’s 100th birthday when he had a beautiful dance with her.

Back in 1973, I met “Uncle Al” and being the new kid on the block, so to speak, in this very large family, he immediately became my Uncle Al, too. He was most certainly a proud, loving family man, serious about his sports and enjoyed trips to the casinos. Anytime we were invited to his home in Brentwood for a special occasion was a good day. The games we played, the hours spent splashing around in his pool, not to mention feasting on an assortment of delicious dishes, some of which were actually prepared by himself, was a real treat. When we had our boys, he was hands on, and soon he became “Uncle Al the kiddie Pal.” Bowling, baseball and Canasta were only a few activities we all enjoyed together as a family. The very first time I watched a Mahjongg game, in awe, was in his kitchen. He would be amused to hear that I actually teach it, now, to groups of ladies in Naples. We will miss you, Uncle Al, but the memories of those good old days spent with you, live on in our hearts and in the stories we pass on. Love Always…..
