Shirley Hardy-Reeves was born in Kennedy, Alabama on November 14, 1936 to the late Obadiah and Annie Lee Wilson. She departed this life on April 22, 2023 at Carillon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was united in marriage to Louvelle Hardy and to this union had three children, Debra, Randal(deceased) and Doral.

Shirley accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of New Grove Baptist Church in Kennedy, Alabama.
