Edward J. Monroe

MONROE – Edward J. of Ronkonkoma, NY age 88 passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 12, 2023.  Devoted companion of Marilyn Mauro. Beloved father of Karen Monroe, Susan Marie, Doreen Light, Barbara Aiello, Patricia Schankin and  Cathleen Salaymeh. Loving grandfather. Cherished and admired by his extended family. Visitation on Thursday, March 16, 2023, 3 pm – 7 pm at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave, Huntington Station.  A service will be held at the funeral home at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions made to NY Metro Blind Hockey (nymbh.org) are appreciated.
