Emerson Talbott 92, of Huntington Station, NY, passed away on December 26, 2022, after a short illness. Loving husband of the late Maureen Murphy Talbott. Born in Colorado to Carroll Talbott and Lola Mae Talbott. Dear sibling to the late Allen Talbott and the late Carla Overdorff. He leaves two sons, Timothy Talbott of Port Jefferson and Thomas Talbott of Ormond Beach, Florida. Emerson was a friend to many.
Military veteran of the Air Force National Guard (1950-1953). His career included the New York Stock Exchange, Smith Barney, Huntington School District, and Lloyd Neck Bath Club.
Visitation Wednesday, January 4, 2023, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral on Thursday, January 5, 2023, 10 a.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station, NY. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Huntington, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
