Way way back in the day, Chris & I were best buddies. We used to spin records: from Prior, Martin to Cheech&Chong....Devo, The Cars and Led Zeppelin, amazing!
Some of the funniest times spent together were recording nonsense on the antiquated cassette, we would laugh for hours on end!!!
Chris might not have had a big stature, he was strong in heart and stood up for what he believed in, while taking flak from no one; Chris always had conviction in his stance. I greatly admired that.
Even though our friendship dissolved in our mid teen years, Chris was a positive influence in my life.
I missed him then as I miss him now. There will always be a place in my heart for him.
Unfortunately I never got to thank his parents, especially his mom for taking me in, feeding me, while showing me what a loving family is about. Helen let me call her Mom. She was the mother and they were the family I wished I had.
Thank again, to the entire Shcolfield Family!
My deepest condolences to everyone. Chris will be sorely missed.
Your old childhood friend,
Stuart Fleisher
