Titterton Elizabeth Anne “Betty” on February 7, 2017, age 82. Betty succumbed to Pancreatic Cancer, leaving her husband John of 51 years. Mother of five, grandmother of fifteen: Kate O’Malley (Pat); (P.J., Michael, Molly), Jane Dayton (Tom); (Kaitlin, Tommy), John (Michelle); (Jack, Nick, Mary, Annie), Liz Murphy (Wally); (Peter, Brendan, Timmy, Kevin), the late Peter; (Connor, Riley). Betty taught Physics at Syosset High School for 25 years, was Treasurer of the Cold Spring Harbor Library Foundation, was an active member of the Nathan Hale Garden Club and received the St. Agnes Medal for exceptional contributions to The Life of St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington. She will be waked at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station, Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington, Saturday 10:30 AM. Interment with her son Peter at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Huntington, Monday morning.
