I am so sorry for your loss. Its never easy saying goodbye to someone you love. The Bible however, show us that this isn't forever goodbye. God gives us the promise that we be able to see our dead loved ones again (John 5:28-29). I.hope this comfort you and your family in the days ahead and during this difficult time.

Chris... Sudden tragedy is sometimes harder to grieve. You have family and friends with you now. But dont forget about family and friends here on earth that are missing you. If i hear thunder, I know its you and Buffy reving an engine! Peaceful sleep.

My times with Chris were always fun and our jokes random and spontaneous. Chris was witty, smart, handsome, loving and had a beautiful heart.

Why does life have to be so hard for some? Rest in peace now with your Dad and Buffy. Perhaps Bill will be there to greet you also.1NAZU7

My deepest sympathies to Nicky, Jimmy, John, all of the Flathmann family & Chris' friends. I am so very sorry to hear this tragic news. We crossed paths as kids. My memories of him are of a unique individual with wisdom & intelligence far beyond his years. I do remember chats we had outside Artie's Food Store. To say he was smart & clever, doesn't quite do him justice. He had an incredible mind, was very perceptive and as a kid thought he was a gifted human being.

Love & Peace

My sincere condolences to the Flathman family. Chris had a great sense of humor and a great personality. We hung out many times in High school and he will be missed. I still can't believe it.

It's your voice--and especially your laugh--that I keep hearing as I try to digest the news. And your beautiful blue eyes that I like to think always took on an extra sparkle whenever I showed up at your door, so often unannounced. You will be a part of me always. I know few as smart as you, and none as original. I love you. I'm sorry I've been away so long this time. So, so sorry.

You were my first friend in the USA. I met you as a 17 yr old kid looking for Dragonlance books at the Huntington Station library and you helped me request them from other libraries. I will always remember you. I still can't believe a week ago we were planning a visit to the range. Now I'm so sad that it ended up getting cancelled. You were a kind and intelligent human being, both qualities which seem to be in short supply these days. Rest In Peace dear friend.
